He's no doubt regressed, but how much of that is due to injury and lack of healthy playing/practice time? He certainly needs a fresh voice with fresh ideas in his camp though - every coach has a shelf life and this partnership has been a long one.
My worry with Felix is that like Shapo, he will be unwilling to address holes in his game like the backhand stroke and second serve. Even with those issues, you still are left wondering how a top 20 player can hit so many glaring unforced errors off his at times lethal forehand too.
