It’s pretty ####ty to try to drag UCB about wildfires because he enjoys hot weather. But picking at otherwise good dudes seems to be jayswin’s MO.
In Calgary we have the benefit of being able to dip in the lake, crank the AC, or just sit on a shaded patio and enjoy hot weather (or complain about it because it’s uncomfortable to sleep). That doesn’t mean anybody takes joy in people’s homes burning down or people being displaced or worse. Just like people enjoying a day on the slopes or charging snow drifts in the 4x4 doesn’t mean they like people getting hypothermia or freezing to death.
People could be a little less stupid about it. I think we’re all wishing the best for people in BC right now, yeah?
