I just think I need to finish DoS2 before I get into BG3. I played through a large chunk of it a couple of years ago, then had to pause because other stuff got in the way, and by the time I got back to it months later I'd forgotten where I was in terms of what I was doing and why and what was going on story-wise. So I just couldn't get back into it.
It's a long game, and a very good game (everything just works), so I do want to get through it... the thing is it isn't really a game where you can play it in easily digestible chunks; i.e. jump on for 2-3 hours in an evening and progress a quest and then log off and do the same a few days later. It calls for building up momentum. Is the BG3 pacing similar?
