If Hanifin is a pure rental I can't see teams giving up a ton. It's just not worth it. They're better off keeping their prospects and trading for a player not quite as good. Buffalo and Detroit are knocking on the door of the playoffs so I think they can still be somewhat patient. Getting an extension is probably the only way to potentially get a high end piece but who knows if Hanifin even cares to talk extension.
