If you think that's what I'm describing, you aren't listening much. I never said I didn't notice them, nor did I say it's an acceptable situation for people to be in that situation. I'm commenting on the attitudes here which are all about not wanting to see people like that and that's it. Shutting them off from society is non-acceptance.
Calgary was just rousting them from platforms - that's no answer. Arresrting them and doin nothing afterwards is no answer.
Let me ask you - have you ever even spoken to a homeless person other than to tell them you didn't have change? Ever bought one a meal? And sat with them while they ate and talked about stuff? Ever worked a food kitchen? Ever called an EMT for one?
