Really really good episode to end the season, though with the writers strike it's going to be a good long time until we see this show again. We'll just have to satisfy ourselves with Discovery for our Star Trek fix.

I think that they're trying to while not make the Gorn sympathetic in anyway, they are people eating, impregnating machines. But its in their nature. But by pointing out that the solar activity might have made them go into a feeding frenzy, you can't say that they are some kind of detestable race.

I think they tried to be sneaky with that when Spock stabbed the Gorn in the face and for me, it wasn't a satisfying suffering, writhing death.

At the same time, Just coldly blasting a child seemed a bit war crimey.

I liked the addition of Scotty. My feeling is that Carol Kane will be a victim of the Gorn.

As usual this show just looks beautiful, and the Cast works together really well. Even in space it seems lively unlike Discovery which is all dark and cold.

We've seen a few interpretations of the Gorn, We saw the slow karate chopping slow moving Gorn of the James T Kirk era. We saw the faster more dinosaur looking Gorn in Enerprise. And now the borrowing heavily from alien including laying eggs in people Gorn of this show. I wonder if they will try to bridge the gap with a slave species of slow gorns rising up (I kid I kid, just don't do the Klingon Virus thing).
