I could care less if they remove fighting from today's game as it doesn't occur as spontaneous.
As an example, if players are taking liberties and a player like Iggy has had enough he deals with it himself. Today you have the designated fighter go out and fight the other designated fighter, neither of the original players are involved in solving the issue. Fighting in today's game doesn't solve or correct anything.
