Would definitely be most entertaining to bring them in. Or to a different neutral location so if they go postal (or turn stalker) there are options. Yep they could be a quiet awkward genius that hasn’t got a clue. Keep them in the back office being quietly hyper focused and productive BUT never let them integrate with the normal people.
