Either way, my co-worker and I wanted to meet the applicant, and we pleaded with our manager to let us bring her in for an interview. But she said it would be unethical since we had no intention of hiring her.
What kind of writing? I think there is something to be said for it being just crazy enough you had to mention it on a message board. It's arguably a shame the door is totally closed on the interview. Crazy people in the right job for said crazy can be game changers. I'm not saying the resume as described isn't one of the more loony things I've heard, but maybe the person is actually quite different from what you might expect based on it. Worst case Ontario is they're simply not the right candidate. I think I'd be a terrible business owner...
