That's funny because that's the same reason (aside from taste) that I prefer the Pepsi ones. The Coca-Cola ones are
too syrup-y and after a few sips really begins to cloy on the palate.
The ice crystals too, I like when I'm about 2/3 done my slurpee to eat the rest using the spoon straw... which, by the way, here's one we can properly agree on:
Spoon straws should be exempt from this "no more single-use plastic" sh-t.
Or at the very least, allow / encourage the use of the biodegradable ones that 7-Eleven used to have. These thin cardboard spoon straws that both 7-Eleven and Circle-K have ended up with are beyond useless. I'm sorry that a sea turtle got a straw stuck up its nose and it went viral on the internet, it hurt my heart to hear the noise it made too. You wanna encourage recycling them, I'm in. Provide a biodegradable option and tack the cost onto the price of a slurpee, give-r, I'll pay the 25 cents or whatever. But enough with this cardboard straws nonsense. Most unfit-for-purpose thing ever.
