I'd have to go oldschool for the absolute BEST games that can stand the test of time...

1) All of the Sierra Quest series
2) Duke Nukem 3D
3) The Incredible Machine
4) Red Alert II
5) Civilization II

Honorable mentions to Syndicate, Myst, Dark Forces, Shadow President, Rise of the Triad, Descent, Cannon Fodder, Spy Hunter, Tie Fighter, Lemmings, Full Throttle, the Monkey Island series, Day of the Tentacle, Fallout, the Leisure Suit Larry series, Quake, and Half Life.

God, there are so many great games that could just make that list as well...

Oh, I want to put top 5 console games as well:

1) River City Ransom (NES)
2) Chronotrigger (SNES)
3) Gran Turismo II (PSX)
4) Goldeneye (n64)
5) Champions: Return to Arms (PS2)
