That whole town runs on tourism. The locals depend on it. It mourning something that helps the locals and helps the visitors. I’ve had countless conversations with folks that work and live in Lahina as their lives are interesting to me. If I greave the loss of Lahina Grill its not materialistic. That restaurant is the people, their story, my experiences with them, and our shared loss. I mourn everything and everyone.

Your welcome to debate me on this. I’ll just check my credentials up front that I have gone through a natural disaster, and spent numerous hours in grief counseling. Not that what I say goes, but I also not going to police you on how you process this disaster.
I've been doing that for years (ever). Watching any sort of tragedy or controversy thread and I wait for that first post that people will pounce on. Reading the replies. All sorts of good ones, good news by Bigtime, other reminisce of the time they were there, whatever, all legit, but the people who believe they are the smartest just can't comprehend that one of the other 7 Billion people isn't seeing the world in the exact same way they do.

At Bob's funeral, "man I'm gonna miss the days of having beers with Bob and going fishing with him"

Doofus: ITS TOOO SOON!!!! HE HAS CHILDREN!!!!

I'm actually surprised no one has tried to de-rail with the global warming thing yet, actually impressed no one has.
