I think what holds true is those kids that don't know what they want to do are told to go to University and take different classes to find out what they like.

That's interesting. I guess as a fellow Commonwealth nation we are pretty similar in a lot of ways, and obviously for STEM careers you need a degree, and will need one forever probably. But I'm all for more trade schools/less formal education.
