This thing is so fresh out of its packaging it hasn't had enough time to turn into anything yet. Maybe give it some time and the people involved a chance to actually probe for evidence.
Only ignoramuses would turn a blind eye and scoff before they've properly investigated what these high ranking officials claim does or doesn't exist.
Religion has thousands of years on UAPs and has nothing else to offer. It's long been fleshed out.
