It's probably why trading Lindholm is going to be the right move, because this is the type of contract he's going to be asking for. He's going to see anything under $9M as a "discount".

Aho is clearly better and more of a franchise type forward. Aho is also younger. If anything, this hurts Lindholm's bargaining position. If he's looking for anything above $9 million, based on this comparable he's not worth that.
