I'd also argue the one good thing Twitter had going for it is the name and brand recognition. Twitter being at the forefront of social media during the social media boom resulted in it being integrated into everyday lexicon. There's a reason why Alphabet and Meta kept Google and Facebook at the forefront even after the name change.
Why would you just wipe out all that goodwill and brand recognition for the sake of just doing a name change? Was the name "Twitter" ever the problem?
