It's where you're at in your teams life cycle though. Vegas has been contending consistently year after year and finally broke through. They're an elite team. The Flames are trying to just make the playoffs. Unless the Flames land a Jack Eichel and Alex Pientrangelo in the next couple years their window will be closing before it even opened with this group.
