The difference is that you're getting only 2 years of Yegor compared to a late first round pick that might give you 5-8 years in the organization, including 3 on an ELC.
I'm not saying that he's going to be a bad player, but right now it feels as though the Flames should've gotten more. Especially when you consider all they gave up for Toffoli.

When you look at it in terms of what they gave up for Toffoli, of course, it's disappointing. But that was BT, and he's gone now, tearing apart Toronto's future.
The fact is, I think this is an excellent return for Toffoli who is unlikely to repeat this production at his age, without Sutter's preferential treatment, and outside of a contract year.
I would not be surprised to see Toffoli get out-produced in this trade.
