Even if the Flames hold onto Lindholm, and others, until the deadline, I think they’ll get more than a late 1st and a B level prospect. Especially for Lindholm and Hanifin. By the TDL, they can deal those players at 50% retained. That’s going to appeal to several teams.
I think the late first May be accurate because they’re almost certainly going to contenders (never know though, Islanders weren’t contenders-Horvat). I bet they get more than the B level prospects you’re suggesting though.

I'm assuming the team acquiring him would be a contender. Not for sure but seems more likely. Those teams don't like giving up roster players. They most likely know he's a rental so I cant see them parting with any top prospects. So the 1st is probably the main piece with a sweetener or two and I think that is probably more like a B prospect and maybe another later pick.
