Subway related, I went to the one at chinook the other day and tried one of their new ones as I couldn’t figure out if they still had the old menu items. It was ok, but it was $15.29, which is pretty outrageous for subway. I have a friend that goes to subway fairly often so I ask him if he’s seen the prices go up. He says he was just at his normal location a few days ago and it’s the same price as it’s always been. I use the app and check a few locations and turns out the chinook location has a $3 premium vs other locations for some reason. Not that it’s a big deal, but I certainly didn’t know subway has location specific pricing.

Saw an article (or maybe on the news) recently about this. There were several fast food chains doing this in Calgary (and elsewhere). I did not realize it was a thing either.
