Drinks at the pools are a minimum of $20USD.
Booze, generally, has always been crazy expensive at venues. fifteen years ago, I was paying $25 USD for a Vodka Redbull. Now I'm sure the same drink is probably close to $40 USD (I don't drink Vodka Redbulls anymore so don't actually know the real price).

You've really got to be smart with the pre-gaming in Vegas. Booze from liquor and convenience stores, especially outside of the tourist traps, is insanely cheap. Use that for the base. On top of that you can drink for free in the casinos while gambling. If you play a low stakes game, you come out pretty far ahead. Then you have those stands on the strip that sell you an expensive marguerita, but one packed with enough booze to get you loaded. In fact, I'd be really careful with these. Some have a whole mickey in them.

Then once you're out order some beers, and if you want to get more loaded find some American free pour doubles.

I really need to go to Vegas to see that video sphere in person.

This think looks F-in incredible, and I really wish we'd see more of this kind of giant public sculptures/art in our infrastructure and buildings. In Asia these things seem more common, but North America is really far behind.
