I've not coached but I always wonder if defensive coordinators instruct players to just knock the ball down on hail mary or 3rd and long situations. A DB can't be thinking about padding his stats in that situation. Better game by Maier and hopefully he can build off this as it was an important game in regards to not losing the season series to the Riders who are probably going to struggle without Harris.

Just to add on to this but I think a lot of the credit for that win goes to the D-Line what a dominant game reminded me of the 14-18 Stamps front 4.
When you can get pressure without blitzing it gives you so many options and. I was nervous that Vaughters lost a step but he looks like one of the most dominant linemen right now those 4 guys are going to play a huge role for us.
The receivers are starting to look dangerous as well. If Maier builds on that game we get some protection we could be in the race.
Overall a much better outlook for the Stamps and CFL as a whole if they build on the momentum from this week.
