I never said he can't do it and those numbers just prove that he can do it if he wants to which makes his overall lack of contribution last season all the more frustrating. It's not a question of ability and I never said he doesn't have talent. It's up to him which Huberdeau shows up next season. I do maintain that he needs line mates that can do a lot of the heavy lifting and careful line matching in order to be successful.
Next season is a clean slate and I hope he pulls through, but he deserves all the criticism he gets for the way he played for the first 75% of this past season.
