Had to earn everything he's gotten in the NHL. I would have no issues if he was the captain but I don't think fans think of him in this vein.

He convinced a group of his buddies (they didn't know anything about the city prior) to come to Calgary for Stampede week for a stag and he said some of them were talking about buying real estate here after a few days. I have never been a huge fan of the contract but the Flames could have done a lot worse than Coleman. He and his wife seem like a great people and he's one of the better 3rd liners in the league.
