Not laughing at the situation, but at the comments from the band. They were always a little bit pro christian. Not that that's a bad thing in itself but their support for the U.S admin and cluelessness of the war came out that night big time for sure. Some things they said, sung about, definitely hit some fundamentalist warning bells (unless I was completely wrong).

But even though I disagree with that, I think they still put on a great show and like a lot of their music.

I might go see Tom Cochrane. Depends what's going on that day. A lot of those others though, I wouldn't go see.

Supporting the troops and those of their audience shouldn't be construed as 'support for the administration'.

They are definitely not supporters of Bush. Never have been.

What mindset does one have to be in to make that sort of interpretation?
