I think I am far from a Flames fartcatcher but I think they have a real 1st line prospect in Honzek. Outscored on a PPG basis (with the exception of Bedard and Benson) the other WHL forwards taken ahead of him (Danielson, Yager). So within his own league he was a bigger offensive threat than those guys. He was much better than either of those guys at 5 on 5 scoring. And he did it in his first year of hockey in North America, which I think is also a factor to be considered.

If he is healthy this year I expect him to get 40+ goals and 90+ points in about 63 games (as I am assuming he will be at the World Juniors). In the dub numbers like those will easily place him in the top 10 in the league in both categories.
