Single lane on the cross street you were turning onto?
I've been the right-turner onto a
two-lane with a yield sign, and honked at for
not proceeding because rightfully the left-turning traffic opposite me
should have taken the left lane and I could have taken the right lane. But, that's predicated on the idea that the guy turning left will keep to the left lane on the cross-street, as they're supposed to. Often, they don't, so I tend to drive defensively and assume the left-turners will turn into the right lane.
But yeah, if it's one lane and the right-turner opposite you has a yield sign, WTF what a dummy you had the right-of-way.
