Is there something in the Bible, the one it took about a thousand years to edit to get it just right, that says Jesus was an environmentalist?
Or that he even stated a "moral" position on the matter?

Well it's a stretch, but in so far as a failing environment will probably cause mass death and effect those poorest and unable to cope, there is some precedent in the bible for helping those less fortunate I do believe.
