Other teams likely view him as a break out potential player and we need more "true firepower" from the right side. Both Dube and Pelletier can fill his role just fine and combined do not carry the same cap hit.

At 5.8 million I don't think teams are lining up to add Mangiapane, especially the Leafs who are always pressed for cap space.
