If you are rich in the US you have best access to modern medicine, lower taxes, can be basically anywhere on a private jet within 6 hours max, and have to access to a tonnes of leisure options and world class restaurants. Canada is better living for the regular joe but the US is better if you are rich.

The poster I was replying to mentioned schools, golf clubs, shopping, green lawns ...
That certainly exists in Calgary. Most of those people don't take public transit, don't have their kids in public schools, live near their golf course, have a nice shopping area nearby.
