Today was a better day. Was excited for a couple hours at the potential for a fresh start. Didn't struggle to eat a meal for the first time in a few days. Still a lot of sadness but getting better.

Yeah, I cant comment too much as a self-employed person, but its the shock and surprise that really knock you off kilter for a while.
The suggestion to just take some personal time is a good one. Sometimes we self-identify with our work and our jobs to a point where we can become so immersed in it and forget ourselves a little bit.
