Lindholm it's really in his court, I think Calgary has tabled their best offer its sub 9x8 and it's up to him if he wants to sign it. Teams are still touching base however teams that were hot and heavy before got to pick up less risky options for cheap...Duchene in Dallas for example plugging that need. The offers were a joke prior to the draft and on draft day because teams were all talking about buyouts are likely to happen with cap increasing. Additionally the cap uncertainty is also creating a issue. I believe he gets traded and Calgary made a honest attempt to get him signed.

Hanifin agent Pat Brisson has been working closely with Conroy to get a deal facilitated before the start of the season but Noah will show up to camp if no deal in place. I believe Noah isn't looking for a home run amount of money and location is more important. Calgary is not interested in taking on 28+ cap from teams in this deal which has been a sticking point.

If I can get my Backlund information confirmed, I will share it but he's at the crossroad.
This is great!

Thank you for sharing all this intel!!

You would have to think they would have taken Michkov if they ended up at #5.

I don't think giving up arguably the best goalie prospect in the league would have been smart.

I heard that the Flames had Honzek at #9 in their rankings. Makes me wonder who the other 2-3 they had ahead of him were.

Figure the top 5 picks and Michkov would be ahead of him. Maybe Leonard and Benson were the others?
