To be honest, I'm a little sad Twitter may become irrelevant. When it was run properly it was the one-stop breaking news source, the place to stay up-to-date on Trade Deadline and Free Agency, the center to see when and where my favorite comedians and bands were touring (ticket pre-sale codes and whatnot), and a nice disconnect with some funny or wholesome accounts (Super 70s Sports, Thoughts of a Dog, The Tweets of God, etc).
If Facebook becomes the platform to replace Twitter I am fully out. That's just a space for grandparents and bigots, something Musk tried desperately to transform Twitter into.
I haven't used Facebook since April 2020, and it has been blissful. Nobody remembers my birthday, but if they needed Facebook for that then they never really gave a #### in the first place.
