With regards to Tanev, I've spent about years arguing with Canuck fans that they were never ever going to get a 1st round pick for Tanev, he is a very good defensemen but he is injury prone. No contending or playoff team will give you a 1st round pick for him because they know the chance of him lasting for an entire playoff run is very low. If you can get a 2nd round pick for him, you should be happy.

Lol. Yes It's all my fault. How dare I express my hopes for a 1st round pick in return for a top 4 heart and soul dman and a cap dump in return. Bodie makes like 2 mil less than Monahan. Brad paid a 1st to get rid of him without getting said warrior in return.
I think it's very reasonable.
