Looks like the government is doubling down on their extortion law. Both Google and Meta abide by the new law, but the Liberal / NDP coalition, incensed that Google / Meta didn't select the option they expected are now using government advertising as a weapon. Why stop there, why not just ban both if we are going down the petty route? Canada can join freedom fighting countries like Russia and China to show dominance.
