Not sure they should have him back just yet, but his issues are little to do with his "muscle memory". Though it does sound like they made a small tweak to his delivery.
His problem is/was entirely in his head. I think what he needs is simply some decent results. All about confidence. He really hasn't had that yet, even in his rehab.
