I miss the times when Bob McKenzie still had his finger on the pulse and was THE hockey insider. I've always felt he was a notch above everybody else, including just being likeable and decent.

I dunno. Today I like Chris Johnston more than anyone as the personalities all seem smarmy. I know a lot like Lebrun but he’s totally uppity. Bob McKenzie was alright but he always said this or that could happen which was just laying out obvious possibilities which wasn’t inside info really. Friedman is legit and seems to have the most info. Probably because he’s the most visible and people want to be aligned to him. Some days I like him, other days when he’s on tv he has a visible annoyance on his face when Bieksa pokes him. Those days he takes himself too seriously.
