Reading through the prospect list thread it seems that most have Morin ahead of Suniev. Yes I am well aware that the scouting department had Morin ahead as well but would anyone else have taken Suniev in the second? I would have and laughed all the way to the bank.

Now don't get me wrong, a looot to like about Morin. The hitting, the skill, all first round however watching a shift by shift assessment he made as much work for his own goalie as he did for the opposition. One game bias? sure quite possibly; as much of what I read say he is pretty good defensively, but if not why wasn't he mentioned more as one of the top defencemen?

Suniev highlights package looks like a first rounder all day long. To me he almost seems like Honzek light, with maybe a better one timer. Oh that one timer is wicked and looks almost effortless. the skating seems to be overblown as he seems to involved in the play in all sorts of ways in every zone. I think he is an absolute steal in the third.

Am I totally out to lunch here?
