I normally love storms but the storm drain in front of our house has been especially slow this year and backs up with minimal rain, so I've been dreading them. Very glad this one missed us in McKenzie Towne.
I think I need to put a call in to 311. We've had pooling in previous years with heavy rain, and I understand that it's due to the storm pond levels. But this year has been really bad. We haven't had any huge dumps of rain and we're still getting a lot of pooling water. It makes me nervous for the heavy rain I know will eventually hit with these storms. And it's even more frustrating knowing that there's nothing I can do about it.
