I often find the smartest people I know call themselves idiots and praise other very intelligent people.
To be perfectly clear, I also call myself and idiot, but I'm just self aware enough to know it. Hell I've been a Flames fan for 34 years, what further proof do you need?

This assumes the world is way more of a meritocracy than it is. I think familial wealth factors in more than the two you mentioned.
