With the trade deadline, lots of the moves are depth players,

Agreed for sure, if the Flames are in a playoff spot, they simply don't move the assets.

Which makes an even bigger issue,

This is a tough spot, they can't sell low, however they definitely need to move the assets (i.e. Hanifin)
