Well...in fairness...we are also heavily skewed as a middle-aged, educated, Urban office-work demographic here.
If you went to some 'Farmers R Us' or 4H site or something you might get more nuanced discussions about farming.

I mean thats not entirely true, I have a number of clients who are farmers and I understand certain elements of the profession fairly well but I'd hardly consider myself knowledgeable enough to weigh in on that.
Whereas Teachers, and the Education system in general? Lets be honest. We've all gone through school. We've experienced it. We know these people in our day-to-day lives, have kids going through the system, etc. Its far closer to our monkeysphere than farming is.
