For sure but he simply isnt there....yet.
Nothing wrong with him playing another year in the AHL and getting a better understanding of where his weaknesses are and how to clean them up. He wont have that opportunity in the NHL though.
I didnt think he had a chance a couple years ago, but he really did take a big step last year and proved he is taking things seriously in an effort to be an NHLer. That really bodes well for him and the club.
