Has Buffalo had a chance to talk contract with Hanifin? Maybe Hanifin has no interest in Buffalo? Maybe he wants to test UFA unless he gets a city he really likes.
There is a ton in play here.

I agree partially, obviously there are no guns to anyones heads to get a deal done. I believe Hanifin has a strong market. Over a decade of failures and falling short yet again has put pressure in their front office to get them in the playoffs. Pick 13 is the price they should have to pay for a guy who solidifies their d core
