I could understand this post more if we were fans of a winning organization but we are fans of one of the bottom 10 organizations in the NHL so doom and gloom is a byproduct of the organizations mishaps over the decades. Sure some fans may come off as doom and gloom but that's what happens when the team you cheer for lets you down on a nearly annual basis. Personally I always hope for the best even though that hasn't got me anywhere for almost 30 years but it's really hard to not fear the worst because that typically is the end result with the Flames.
This trade isn't terrible IMO. It's a little underwhelming and it's totally fine for posters to state their opinion good or bad as the Flames haven't earned the benefit of the doubt.

What is your metric and how do you define the Flames as a bottom 10 organization? Because as a franchise they have the 7th best winning pct all time.
