This is one deal, a 31 year old pending UFA who didn’t want to be here. We did get a 3rd round pick, Yegor is younger and faster and cost controlled. He may get 30 playing in our top 6 and you might deal him for more picks in a few years or he’s a key depth play for us in 4 years when he’s only 29.
Not sure how this screams we are better next year and it’s probably the first of many deals over the next 6 months.
