The market is telling me that Conroy is getting lowballed. If he's being offered 3rd round picks for Lindholm, no, that's not good enough.
And you are assuming they are unhappy, and even if they are, they will be looking to improve their stats.
I'm not sure what you mean by "an inability to sign them". They can sign them up to next season, and sign them before the TDL in order to give some team an 8 year deal.
The last thing you want your roookie GM to do is get bent over.
