We're really shooting for the stars if you think Conroy has trades in place for all 4 of our prime assets getting traded away.
Luckily, patience is on our side. We aren't the ones that are in dire need to make a move, yet. Yes, Conroy has set a timetable. At the same time though, players that can sign extensions July 1st do NOT HAVE to do it on July 1st.
With how bad the UFA class is, and teams not wanting to years for a mediocre player, they'd rather pay the assets to grab a very good player at a reasonable salary, then negotiate terms later. Contending teams are going to heavily look into Calgary's players. They already are.
