Fix the goaltending and Edmonton's biggest problem is the Nurse contract. That's a pretty good problem to have sitting here in Calgary. We fkd.

Hard to disagree. Simple fix
Trade Campbell to somebody and package your 2024 1st and your 2025 1st with him and lose that contract. That would leave them 10 million bucks to sign an elite goalie, Bouchard and 5 forwards to round out the roster with Nurse on it. Probably have to trade for a goalie though because there are no good UFA goalies this year. Maybe package Hyman and a 2026 first for an elite goalie. Pretty simple problem to solve. Then you probably have to move Kane to sign Bouchard. Simple solution.
