Vegas didn't beat them by depth. Marchessault isn't a depth forward. Oil has a better goalie and they win that series.
Fix the goaltending and Edmonton's biggest problem is the Nurse contract. That's a pretty good problem to have sitting here in Calgary. We fkd.

This seems to be in direct comparison to the Flames and I'm not sure why...Grease have arguably the most talented (regular season) player since Lemieux and in his prime and another top 10 player, and their main concern is how they stack up vs their currently free-falling arch-rivals? Imagine if in Lemieux/Jagr & Crosby/Malkin's primes, their main concern was being better than the Flyers.
After watching them lose a tough 7 game series to Ducks in 2017 in Connor's 2nd year, I never would've guessed they'd still be stuck in this same spot going into 7 years later with a talent like that, it's stunning really. And now time's almost up on the McWindow with no Cups or even Finals to show for it, and there's still holes on the roster.
But I know that won't stop Greaser fans from being overconfident as usual, yep they're right there, just stay the course. Tick tick tick...
